Bill's Red Jeep
Tink and Poo here.. we went for a ride today in the limo.
Now we like to go places. Don't make us no never mind
where we are going, as long as we get to go. We have
been on some long trips. Some times we get to some
Dollies digs. That one Bill calls the Princess, she
lives high on the hog. Bet if we stayed there a couple
days we could get that place to look like people lived
in it.
Now we also like to try our paws at this thing called
driving too. Don't get to do that very often though.
We use to have a Jeep. One time we went some where.
Bill stops and gets out. Leaving the motor running.
Made it simple for us you know. Well he is walking away
and Poo said lets try this thing out. So he kicks it
into gear. Well he said lets back up. Now I, Tink was
working the wheel, and I thought he was going to work
the gas and brakes. But no he is setting over there
looking out the window on the other side.
Well maybe that was all right because he told me right
or left. Here we go backing up. Poo says right, left a
bit, and then crash. Well I looked. There was a car on
one side and a pick up on the other side and we were in
between them . The crash was a tree in our back side.
Bill got the door open and pushed me out of the driving
seat, and took off mad as the dickens.
We never could figure why he was so mad. After all we
never touched those two other buggies. The Jeep was
laid up for a couple of weeks. Bill said later the
insurance people said if we drove any more get us some
special type of insurance. Something about Dogs
driving the Jeep insurance. Heck we are not dogs, we
just little people.
We sure liked that driving stuff. Wonder what would
have happened if that tree hadn't jumped out and hit us.
