GRANDMA DORIS
February 8, 1921 ~ March 2, 2003
Then, now, and forever in our hearts and memories.
From the time we were born until the time our
father called you home.
We will always remember all the nights with Pizza
and Soda, and sleeping till noon the next day.
Taking us down Dump Road to catch fireflies.
Letting us sit beside you and drive. And all the
bingo games we went to that didn't matter whether
we won or not as long as we were with you.
Most of all the long talks about the Father above.
To always be patient and trust in the Lord. What
ever we told you was always okay and you would listen
without judgement. You taught us faith and love.
You were always there for us when we needed you.
We love you "Grandma" for everything! And
you'll be in our hearts forever. We'll have
our memories and your love with us always!

MY SWEET GRANDMA
I miss you so much. I know you are safe and
no more pain. I know you are home with Grandpa
and looking down on me. I can feel that you are
at peace now and with the Father up above. You
have touched my heart and my Children's also.
We will always have those memories to hold forever.
I remember the times when I was small and we were
having a get-together at your house. I would
pretend I was sleeping so I could stay the night
with you. I remember all the long talks we would
have and how you would listen and would tell me
that things would work out for the best.
I remember the time we lived with you and I went
to the same school you worked at. I knew that I
would see you when I walked through the line to
get my lunch. I can still see you smiling at me
as I walked through that line. Look at all the
times we would watch the birds come to your
bird feeders. How you loved the birds. The times
we would sit on the porch and talk and watch all
the cars go by. The shopping trips we took and
when we went for a Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Sundae.
There are so many memories that I hold in my heart
and there are so many more that are with me forever.
See Grandma all the memories you have given me.
They will always be with me in my heart.
My sweet Grandma, even though you are not right here
beside me, and talking to me, I know you are up above
with the Angel's and our Father and Grandpa looking
down on me. I know someday we will be together again.
When I see the birds at the bird feeder and flying
around, I will know you are near me. How you loved
those birds. My sweet Grandma, I love you so very
much and miss you so.
