From My Heart To You
My Home Away From Home
My Website is my second home
Where my heart and soul do rest
For here I write my deepest thoughts
Of spoken words I can't express
Of all the friends that I have made
From all oe'r this great World
Most are in my heart to stay
As others seemed to quickly stray
The ones that left were like a season
What I could give was the only reason
And then when I could give no more
The E-mails stopped just as before
To leave me to wonder
What had I done wrong
To make them forget me
And sing this sad song
But the friends that remain
In my heart they all stay
And we love each other
Through night and through day
We are friends forever
Deep within our souls
Through thick and thin
Or whatever unfolds
So the ones that have left
Were but birds of a feather
As they took off in flight
Our love did not matter
And I will pray for them
Through all of my days
That Jesus watch oe'r them
And they have no dismay
For someday they'll learn
What it feels to be hurt
And wished they'd been kinder
To their friends here on earth.
