Your Gonna Be A Mommy Again

Congratulations are in order
for the mommy to be;
for now she is "Forty"
and starting over you see.

She has found out she's pregnant
and to her delight;
has forgotten the symtoms
that gave her a fright.

The very sick tummy
that never felt good;
all the crackers she ate
to hold down her food.

How tired she felt
when she climbed out of bed;
that lasted forever
or so that she said.

The aches and the pains
that her body felt;
her calls on the phone
saying mom, please help.

The changing of clothes
from a 5 to a 12;
oh mom, look at me
as I giggled, she said.

I am all stomach
my shape is all gone;
will it come back
when this is all done?

She goes to the doctor
and a picture he gives;
of a tiny small dot
in a sack that it lives.

And the next time she goes
she can see the heart beat;
of the small wondorous love
in her body she keeps.

Then all the fretting
and fears are all gone;
for she know this dear baby
will soon be born.

It was her miracle
sent from Jesus above;
when he answered her prayers
with a seed of his love.

So now is the name picking
as we all know;
a boy or a girl name
so many, oh wow!

Will it be Levi, David, or James,
or Demi, Shantilly, Janet, or Jane;
too many choices to pick from I see
put them all in a hat and pick one for me.

Oh, all these test
that they want to take;
for Down Syndrome and such
what a mistake.

For I won't care what it is
when my dear baby comes;
for his mommy is waiting
with unconditional love.

So let it be whatever
this baby of mine;
as long as I can love them
till the end of time.
