BE STILL MY SOUL
What is this rage
Within me lies
Of days gone past
Deep hurts inside.
So it comes out
In poems I write
To still my soul
My heart takes flight.
Up in the skies
To Heaven above
Where Angels sing
Their songs of love.
Where Roses smell
Of scents so sweet
And velvet grass
Beneath my feet.
All Butterflies
With rainbow hues
Yellow's, Pink's,
And shades of blue.
The sun shines bright
All day long
The dark of night
It never comes.
This is the place
I yearn to be
Forever more
I rest with thee.
Our God above
He takes my hand
And leads me to
The promised land.
