As a friend of Ken's I think I can speak
For all that are mourning we lost him October 16th
He went on to heaven carried by our Lord
To be an angel and sit next to God


His Cancer is gone and his body is healed
No more pain does he feel and is happy again
But he is saddened with the ones he has left
Chrissy, his children, grandchildren and friends

He says do not mourn long for at last I'm at peace
I'll write songs in heaven you'll hear them someday
Be sad for a while then you all must go on
Until your time comes to be with me again

My time on earth I did all that I could
To bring those to our Lord with my songs and my words
So I went home in peace knowing you would be fine
Until we are joined in God's gardens divine

You have more to do until that day comes
Take care of each other and show them your love
My site will go on thanks to Chrissy and all
So stop in and see us and tell her hello

We are only apart for a short time
Look to the heaven in the clouds above
I'll always be there sending down my love

To cool you with a warm Summer breeze
To give you warmth when the Winter is cold
In Spring as the flower scents are so sweet
In the Fall when the leaves rustle under your feet

So grieve not for long and think of the times
That no sickness we had at times in our lives
Of the love that surrounded us all of our days
And the good days are more then the bad ones we had
