I'm Not Addicted

So easy it is
to forget everything
Get up in the morning
and get on this machine!

Forget the wash
forget the cleaning
Forget the cooking
and nothing is baking!

Forget the windows
what are they
I have a window on here
that keeps me busy all day!

You say they need washing
and I should dust too
Well I will start with my keyboard
and then my Monitor also!

The cats need attention
the dogs need let out
The fish need more water
they swim there and pout!

The yard needs a pruning
the flowers a mowing
Or should it be maybe
the other way around!

My minds in a whirl
so much to be done
But why don't I care
I'm having too much fun.

Chatting to friends
making more pages
Fixing my pictures
playing games-making faces!

Reading, deleting
putting it all away
In a safe place on here
to look at another day!

Or pass it on to friends
that I have made on here
If I've received this joke once
I've got it times twenty-three!

My hubby needs attention
my kids need a bath
Oh wait just a minute
their all gone-that's the past!

When did they grow up
when did they leave
Do I still have a hubby
well yes I do indeed!

So better move back
get out of my chair
Shut this thing off NOW
hey! when did I get gray hair!

I was young when I started
on this fandangled machine
But the cobwebs tell me
I've been on here too long!

Hey all I'm outta here
and all that good stuff
I'm looking for my youth
that I lost in the dust!!!
