From My Heart To You
There are songs of every
nation,
There are songs in every
key,
But the one that I love best of
all,
Is, "My Country Tis of Thee".
For
it stands for one united front,
Of peace and
liberty.
A land to love and sing its
praise,
so all the world can hear.
Our
fathers worked and died for it,
and that is
why we're free.
So let us carry on the
job,
Every mother, child, and man.
To
keep democracy alive in the land
Of Uncle
Sam.
